Had a blast shooting with Manny and Maddi – these two are head over heels, and it shows in every frame! I try to keep it easygoing, giving a bit of direction but letting the real, unfiltered moments steal the spotlight. Manny and Maddi were up for all the wild and fun ideas, making the whole session a blast. I’m sure you’ll find the corners of your mouth turn to a grin as you go through these.
People sometimes ask about mini sessions, and you know what? Those special moments, glances, you know the real in-between moments? They take time to create! Can I tell you a secret?? shhh…don’t tell. I rarely, I mean rarely, ever use the first 10 - 15 minutes of a session when I am delivering an album *gasp*. The truth is, we are just warming up at the beginning of the session - getting comfortable in front of the lens, each other, having a third-wheel there with you (haha), etc. In fact, most of the real, raw, candid moments you see on instagram/pinterest/etc., are usually not taken at the beginning of the session. Will I offer minis at certain points in the year? Absolutely! But some moments can’t be captured in 15 minutes. Just check out the pics – that's all the convincing you need.
